League Rules and Structure

League Elimination
Elimination Process: Depending on the league size (2-32 teams), one or two teams will be eliminated from the competition each week.
Survival Strategy: Don’t be your league’s lowest-scoring team each week. The lowest-scoring team(s) will be eliminated, and their players will be returned to the available player pool, ready to be picked up by the remaining team managers.

Waiver Wire Strategy
Reverse Order: The weekly waiver wire pick-up order will reverse based on the performance of the remaining teams.
First Pick: The second lowest-scoring team gets the first pick, and the highest-scoring team gets the last pick.
Limited Time: The waiver wire is only open for 24 hours, after which add/drops are unlimited and on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Curveballs
No Bench Players: Your team consists only of your 8 starters. There are no bench players, so old-school thinking like “I’ll just throw in my backup” won’t work here.
Tough Decisions: With only 8 gladiators scoring as many points as possible, you’ll face tough decisions, especially during bye weeks. Will you start 7 players or drop a stud?
